St. Joseph Medical Center Appoints Michael Klepin as President

HOUSTON— St. Joseph Medical Center, a Steward Family Hospital, announced last week that Michael “Mike” Klepin will take over as President. Mr. Klepin’s first day was Monday, September 12, 2022. 

Mr. Klepin joins St. Joseph with extensive experience in enhancing hospital operations, service accessibility, and quality of care. These skills will prove valuable to St. Joseph Medical Center as the hospital completes its $92 million renovation project and looks to expand its services throughout the Houston community. 

Mr. Klepin is a dedicated health care executive with over 30 years of experience at hospitals across the country. Most recently, Mr. Klepin previously served as Chief Executive Officer at South California Hospital in Culver City, California.  Previously, he has served an administrative role in facilities including Hunt Regional Healthcare in Greenville, TX; Renown Health System in Reno, Nevada; Triad Hospitals, Inc. in Lewisburg, West Virginia; and Vencor Northwest in Houston, TX.

Originally from Ohio, Mike received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio and his Master of Science in Public Health Administration from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.
